2011 Resort News
For the past several years Stormy Point Village in Branson, MO, has been occupied by two developer entities that have essentially shared the management and operations of the property; Festiva Hospitality Group and Branson-based Summer Winds Resorts. After months of discussion, Festiva has made a business decision that we believe will provide long-term benefits for both the resort and its owners. As of Tuesday, February 15, Festiva has sold the assets that we controlled at Stormy Point Village to Summer Winds Resorts. Additionally, the Stormy Point Village Association is now controlled and managed by Summer Winds Resorts.
This does not have a major impact on the overall structure or operations of Festiva, and Stormy Point Village will continue to be a part of the network of resorts available to Festiva Adventure Club members.
However, there will be some changes that affect deeded owners at Stormy Point Village. We have sent all Stormy Point Village owners a an e-mail and as well as a mailed letter with full details of these changes and how they are affected immediately and in the long term.
